Vaccine Fridge Servicing
When Forest Medical calibrates a vaccine fridge unit, we check that the air temperature inside the unit corresponds with the external display within a tolerance. It is not a service of the unit.
It is a CQC requirement to have your vaccine fridge units serviced annually, along with the paperwork to support this.
If you are unfortunate enough to have a cold chain incident your insurance company may fail to honour your claim for wasted stock if you do not have a servicing plan.
Forest Medical offer an annual fridge servicing option to give you peace of mind. Our costs are extremely competitive, and you will receive a full report.

Data Loggers
A data logger is an excellent investment and can be the difference between disposing of your drugs or keeping them.
These are a relatively inexpensive small device with a USB that will plug into any computer. This will show you the temperature range inside your vaccine fridge for any given period. If the temperature has been outside of the parameters of 2c -8c you will know exactly when and how long for. This information is extremely valuable to your insurance company.
